Dear Doctor Love - I'm a Smutty Book Addict

LETTER 1

Q

Dear Doctor Love

I’m a smutty book addict. The more spice the better but when I read at work during my lunchtime, I can’t help looking at the men around the office and the bulge in their pants. A couple of times I’ve gotten a real good look and then had so much tension and buzzing in my crotch I’ve had to go to the bathroom to get myself off just for some relief.

I feel like I can’t stop though because my life is actually really boring in every other way. This feels naughty and fun.

Should I be doing stuff like this in the workplace though?

Being Naughty

 Dear Being Naughty

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a smutty book lover or enjoying looking at men, but I would say you need to be respectful about your interactions and try to limit them – and your bathroom visits - in the workplace. There’s nothing wrong with daydreaming or ‘getting yourself off’ but work might not be the best place to do it and you could be making others uncomfortable without realising it.

If you like your job and you don’t want to risk it, perhaps try to read something a little more ‘relaxed’ while at work. You can always go to a café on your weekends or somewhere else where there are other people around and read the smutty stuff so you can then go home and have some personal time there.

Sincerely, Doctor Love

I don’t know how to tell her to stop, or even if I should just stop being friends with her. She eats a lot of junk and has quite bad skin and lately she constantly squeezes her pimples and then eats it. It’s so disgusting and I can’t take it much longer. Gross friend     A Dear Gross Friend This sounds really difficult and conflicting. It is NEVER easy to tell someone when they have a habit or issue that we don’t like, but it’s really important to try rather than just pull away from them. It sounds like you have a very good friend here and they are hard to find. A good place to start might be to ask your friend if everything is going okay with her. You could say you’ve noticed her picking her face a lot which can be a sign of being an
